54" Tall and Heavily Gusseted Carriage
Hydraulic Cylinder with 1.5" Chrome Rod
Our Heavy Duty 54" Carriage Surrounds the hydraulic cylinder barrel and the cylinder barrel travels up and down with the carriage.
This is a reversal of thinking compared to our Bison 11DX, Model TP11KC-DX, which offers a .78" Chrome rod and a Hydraulic Cylinder fixed in the top of the post. The Bison 11DX design allows the hydraulic cylinder to pivot inside to outside, making it extremely reliable, but does not allowing movement front to back, which could be a concern as the product ages, and as slider blocks wear.
Having the Chrome bottomed out in the column allows the the hydraulic cylinder to move with the carriage as the load shifts side to side, as well as front to back. Rotary Lift has made its name as the best selling lift on earth by utilizing this design and we wanted to incorporate this notoriously reliable design into our new 11,000lb Universalift.
